The Dan Shen is excellent quality. The small pieces make it very easy to work with, especially as I do herbal infusions into balms for topical application. Highly recommended.

Hi Ann,
Yes you can.
In fact more people use the powder form to make tea for convenience, you can add about a tablespoon of powder to make a pot of tea.

Hi Susan,
This product is packaged in raw herbs form. You can boil the herbs in hot water and drink the water or use it with other Chinese medicine depending on your needs.
